What uses can we give to a cover with a movable bottom?

There are many uses we can give to our swimming pool if we have the ability to choose its depth at any given time:

Swim: will require a medium-to-deep depth to perform the movements and turns. The depth will be greater if we have to perform a turn than if we have a device for continuous swimming without moving forward.

Jumps: the required depth will be very high, the greatest of all activities to avoid accidents.

Children's game: The depth will be shallow and should be adjusted to the children's age.

Exercise: To exercise in the water and be able to work all muscle groups, we will require a medium to high depth, so that it covers up to the waist or shoulders, depending on the exercise.

Sunbathe: sunbathing on a lounge chair over a shallow area of water in the pool, about 20 cm deep, will provide a refreshing sensation without overheating. The evaporation of the water acts as a cooling mechanism.

Rehabilitation: The height should be adjusted according to the desired resistance level or weight reduction. It will depend on the exercise. The advantage of a height-adjustable cover is that we can adjust it based on the phase of our rehabilitation process.

Aquagym: will need a medium depth so that our weight is reduced sufficiently but we can still stand without difficulty.
Thalassotherapy and therapeutic uses: this will depend on the type of accessory. If it's an accessory to convert the pool into a jacuzzi, the depth will be relatively shallow; however, for elements like massage jets, the depth will be greater. In the case of heated loungers, the depth will be less.

Decorative purposes for a party or dinner with friends: A shallow depth is perfect for placing floating candles on our pool or some other type of floating element.

I use this as a source: the depth needs to be medium to low, in order to facilitate the flow of the fountain's jets.

  HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT HEAT PUMP FOR YOUR POOL? The power that each heat pump has to increase the water in the pool is indicated in kW.
  The way to find out the kW we will need to heat the pool is to multiply the cubic metres (m3) that the pool has by 0.3.
  This calculation allows us to know the kW needed, taking into account that a thermal blanket is also used to better retain the heat.
  As an example, we will take the measurement of a swimming pool that is 6 metres long and 4 metres wide, with an average depth of 1.5 metres.
  Therefore, for a 36 m3 pool: 36 m3 x 0.3 = 10.8 kW > We will need a 10.8 kW pump
