A traditional reinforced concrete pool is dimensioned to withstand the loads of the same structure (around 600 kg / m2) and the thrust of the contained water (140 cm water level = 1400 kg / m2). The weight of the rigid structure together with the weight of the water exerts pressure on the ground on which they are supported.
NATURAL POOL BIODESIGN-HIDRO BALEAR
A Biodesign swimming pool supports a very limited structure load (around 70 kg / m2) and does NOT suffer any load due to the pressure of the water contained in its interior. The force of the water is completely transferred to the ground due to the reinforced elastic waterproofing sheet, up to + 300% is free to settle without causing damage to the pool.
