The price of a sauna in Mallorca is based on a project plan, not a catalogue. It depends on four things: the cabin's volume, whether it's a standard model or custom-made, the heater's power—from 3 to 12 kW depending on the model—and the finish, including wood, 8-10 mm tempered glass, and equipment. We don't publish a fixed price because two saunas of the same size can vary significantly in price simply due to the finish. We'll measure the space, check the electrical installation, and provide you with a no-obligation quote.

Yes, in single-phase 230V, provided the power supply is sufficient. Inbeca supports up to 9 kW in "230V VI + neutral", in addition to the 230V 3-phase and 400V 3-phase + neutral + earth options, and models like the 8 kW Yoku 80 are offered in either 230V 1N or 400V 3N. The real limit isn't the heater itself, but your contracted power: 9 kW is approximately 39 A. Always with a dedicated circuit, circuit breaker, residual current device (RCD), and earth connection as per the REBT (Spanish Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulations).

Less than you might think: a two-person booth occupies as little as 1.6 m². The most compact model in Effegibi's Auki range measures 128 x 126 cm with a height of 201 cm and a power output of 3 kW, so it's advisable to allow around 210 cm of headroom for installation and top ventilation. For small or irregularly shaped spaces, custom designs are available: our engineering department sizes the booth and power output based on the actual floor plan.

They are not alternatives: they do different things and are chosen based on use. The Finnish heater heats the air to 80-100°C with a humidity of 10-20%—not dry air at 0% humidity, as is often said—and requires 30-45 minutes of preheating. The infrared heater doesn't heat the air: it emits radiation that is directly absorbed by the body, operates between 45-60°C, and is ready in 10-15 minutes, with significantly less energy consumption. Inbeca sums it up well: they are not mutually exclusive; their effects are simply different.

It depends on the model. The Inbeca Easy Kit can be assembled in about fifteen minutes, without tools, nails, or screws. A prefabricated cabin from our catalogue—Paris, Geneva, Barcelona—is assembled on-site without building work, although it does require its own electrical line. And a sauna integrated into a custom project goes through our engineering department, so the deadline is determined by the construction schedule. We'll confirm the date once the model is finalised.

Yes, and it's our own: we don't subcontract the service, so the same company that sells and installs your sauna also handles the repairs. We've been working on the island since 1984, for over forty years, with a showroom and shop in Palma (C. Foners 62B, 971 46 54 54) and a second shop in S'Arenal (971 44 06 94). We handle repairs with replacement parts and also provide preventative maintenance for the components that wear out most: the heating stones, the heating element, the probe, and the control panel.

In Spain, there is no specific national standard for saunas. What applies is the product standard EN 60335-2-53, which covers CE marking and expressly addresses saunas installed in hotels and accommodations, plus the REBT (Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation) for the electrical components. It's important to clarify two common misconceptions: royal Decree 742/2013 regulates swimming pools and makes no mention of saunas or steam rooms, and the Legionella prevention plan applies to showers in changing rooms, not to the dry sauna cabin.

A well-insulated sauna takes between 30 and 45 minutes to reach 80-90°C with a 6-9 kW heater. In terms of energy consumption, it uses the equivalent of the nominal power during heating and around half that afterward, as the thermostat begins to cycle: a complete session with a 6 kW heater uses approximately 6-8 kWh. This is an estimate, not a catalogue figure: it varies depending on the cabin's volume, insulation, and the amount of stones used.

An electric Finnish sauna doesn't need a water supply or drain: it has no water circuit, and the steam is generated by manually pouring water onto the stones. Turkish baths, however, do require these, and are mandatory. What Inbeca does require in saunas is the flooring: stoneware, terrazzo, or marble, preferably in large pieces, and never parquet, cork, or carpet, because sweat penetrates these surfaces and promotes the growth of fungi and bacteria.

For domestic use, Canadian aspen and hemlock are used: low thermal conductivity, resin-free, and stable at 90°C. Elements that come into contact with the skin—benches, headrests, and backrests—are made of ayous, which does not burn upon contact. The rest of the catalogue includes birch, fir, wenge, black walnut, and darker, heat-treated wood. In outdoor saunas, the standard structure is fir with tongue-and-groove fir or hemlock paneling. Doors are made of 8 mm tempered glass, and fronts are made of 5+5 laminate or 10 mm tempered glass.
