Pool
construction

We design and build custom swimming pools for homes, residential communities and hotels. With our own engineering team and over four decades of experience, we pay close attention to both the aesthetic result and the technical execution to create a pool designed to be enjoyed for years to come.

Why Hidro Balear

Custom design, engineering in every detail

For us, building a swimming pool means thinking beyond its appearance: how it will be used, what maintenance it will need, and how it will integrate into the space. This approach guides our decisions from the very beginning.

◉
01 · Engineering

A technically grounded design

Our engineering department studies the terrain, orientation and site access to define a viable proposal. Dimensions and installations are considered together, ensuring the design has a sound technical solution.

◉
02 · Materials and equipment

A choice that looks to the future

We assess materials on their finish, durability, and ease of care. We also select equipment that meets the pool's needs, taking into account water and energy consumption and maintenance requirements.

◉
03 · Personal service

A single point of contact

Throughout the project, you'll have a dedicated contact person to answer your questions and discuss pending decisions. We'll explain the alternatives and their implications, with direct communication that makes it easy to keep track of the work.

Frequently asked questions

Before you build your pool

Initial decisions often raise questions about space, investment and how the work will progress. Here you'll find answers to help you start planning your project.

It depends on the terrain, access, design complexity, and finishes. Planning has to distinguish between preparing the design, obtaining the necessary permits and carrying out the work. That is why the schedule is set for each individual project.

The available space and intended use are taken into account: swimming, relaxing, or enjoying the pool as a family. The volume of water and its impact on the pool's operation and maintenance are also considered.

In addition to size, factors such as excavation, access, construction system, interior finishes, and equipment influence the cost. Lighting, heating, and water features also affect the price. The quote is prepared on the basis of a defined proposal.

Before starting work, it is necessary to verify the urban planning feasibility and obtain the corresponding licence or permit. The requirements depend on the type of project, the land classification, and the applicable planning regulations. Specific documentation and procedures should be confirmed with the local council and the architect or engineer in charge of the project.

It sets out the configuration of the pool and the systems it needs to operate. The documentation covers the design, dimensions, materials and equipment, and serves as the reference for carrying out the work to the agreed specifications.

You can perform routine maintenance following the instructions provided or hire a maintenance service. At Hidro Balear, we offer cleaning, water quality control, and equipment inspection through plans tailored to your installation. Our technical service also handles breakdowns and repair needs.

Yes. The design can take into account the architecture and layout of the outdoor space, rather than treating the pool as an isolated element. The materials and finishes are chosen so that the whole scheme sits comfortably with its surroundings.

Having a company that combines engineering, construction, and in-house technical support allows for a comprehensive approach to the project and provides specialist assistance once the pool is in use.
